Do white and red JDM MRs run the same wing on the Graphite Grey or is it just a black wing?

 

What year are you talking about? I am sure they are all the same!

 

no, i know what your talking about the jdm 8s and jdm 9s have full CF wings not painted thats what gives it the dark color. i believe there is a tutorial for it somewhere on the forums here.

 

I don't think it's CF. I think that the wing is just painted a color that is very similiar to the Graphite Gray.

Anyway, to answer the original question, I believe that all the JDM MR's have that color wing. Here are some pictures:

On mine (GG JDM 8MR) the sides are painted body colour, but the horizontal 'wing' part is CF.

 

isnt it that eisen grey color, the same one on the vortex generator?

 

I thought people came to a conclusion that the side pillars to the wing have a different paint code than the rest of the body (on a Graphite Gray).

i've seen a up close pic, i coulda swore it was just unpainted carbin fiber.

the USDM 8MR wings are dark charcoal on the sides for graphite gray cars
the USDM 8MR wings are body color on the sides for non-graphite gray cars
the USDM 9MR wings are body color on the side

 

Ummm... may be I'm missing the point here, but mine is CF. It came like that and it's shiny and has that fine checkered pattern and it's black. Seen the same thing on a white one.
Alas, never seen a red though...

 

i just went to a dealership yesterday and looked at the 9MR. the wing is much darker than the body color.

my wing is getting warrantied and i'm getting it the dark charcoal color. anyone know what the color code is?

 

why would anybody wanna a different color wing on their car?
