Does anyone have a picture of what the stock short wing looks like on the EVO? I've seen the GT-A (?) Evo and that short wing looks great.
The big wing is fine and I'll take it if that's all I can get but I was hoping to find the short wing EVO in silver with a sunroof.

I just got a sweet price offer from a dealer and my fun car search may be over.

Can anyone help with the pict?
If I have to order the EVO, I may just do that as I have time to wait.
That way I can get the silver color, short wing, sunroof, and the new 6 disc stereo. I wonder why that's a late availability thing? The 6 disc is available in the rest of the world. Oh well.

I too am very curious to see what the small wing looks like. The big wing is just a little to big for my taste

 

Look at an OZ Rally Lancer; it's the same wing.

 

Are you sure? The OZ wing hugs the rear deck. On the GT-A Lancer EVO the wing sits off the rear deck about 4", or so it appears, but it does sit higher than the OZ. It has a similar off the deck look as the wing on the current Eclipse.

If the short wing looks like the one from the GT-A (I hope I'm naming it correctly) then it will look very cool and better than the tall wing.

I read that the wing on the STi actually vibrates and causes a noise as it oscillates at higher speed. I hope the EVO tall wing doesn't do that.
Does it?

It is the OZ rally wing I'm sure, it could look nice I just more sold on the big wing.

I was really hoping that they were using the slightly taller wing from that GT-A.

But, at least it looks a bit, little bit, more subtle on the silver car.
Who am I kidding? There is NOTHING subtle about that wing!?
It's a bit fast & furious to me. It's growing on me though.

I love my wing and I haven't heard anything resembling noises from the wing at high speeds.

 

Cool, it's good to know that Mits did a better job on the tall wing than the EVO. But, of course we'll have to see how the USDM STi really plays out.
The last review of the STi (current model, same wing) said the wing does vibrate. Chalk one up for

I think the short wing isn't available yet because it's the same wing as the 04 Ralliart edition Lancer which isn't released yet. The wing is a bit smoother than the current OZ one.

 

For what its worth, I was told by one dealer that if you don't order a CF wing, you get a high metal wing. There is no low wing option (or non-option). Was he full of it?
