Lancershop =

I have also had countless problems with Lancershop. Parts not being in stock, stuff not arriving when it's supposed to, refunds not processed in a timely manner. For example, I ordered a short throw shifter from them. Come to find out later that it's out of stock. They said I can wait or cancel the order. I found the part somewhere else and canceled the order. No problems. About a month later I get a call saying that they have shipped my shifter!! Apparantly the warehouse hadn't canceled the order so they mailed me a shipping label so that I could return it. What a waste of time. Bad way to run a business.

maybe lancershop does not actually carry parts but has them drop shipped from a distributor. there is possibly more at work here then just one company, i think the restocking fee should be considered to be waived though.

Apparently you need to work on your reading comprehension tvieira24, as it's obvious you didn't read my second post.

And as for the name calling, it's completely unnecessary and unnaceptable. I didn't call anyone any names, and I definitely wasn't talking to you. Maybe you should go see a therapist instead of yelling at other people because you hate your own life.

Wow, people on these forums are sensitive. I state my opinion on a situation, now I'm an "assclown." I already stated that I misunderstood the situation. Grow up.

I'd tell him to shut up if he was just impatient, but if a vendor promises that they can have a part out by a certain date and can't follow up, thats ****ty service period.
I guess you missed this? At least he was courteous enough to apologize for NOT reading the entire thread. Please keep personal name calling out of your comments.

As for my situation, trust me I have threatened to go elsewhere, and when I did so they emailed me back telling me the pads were getting shipped out that day. We'll see.

Anyway, I still don't think a restocking fee is that bad. They did ship out the parts after all, even if they were late. But I'm sure it still sucks. In my experience I haven't had any problems with lancershop, but I haven't had a situation like yours either. Getting parts a couple days late isn't that big of a deal for me. Wish it could be the same for you.

Agreed, It's been almost 3 months, and I still haven't recieved my rims from Japan.

the only thing I could fault lancershop for was not warning the customer on which parts were drop shipped as opposed to being in stock at their warehouse.

That indeed is possible, BUT if thats the case they shouldnt have told him they had the part in stock and could meet hi deadline.

For the record I have ordered a ton of stuff from Justin @ EVOMOTO ( which is mastaminds inc / lancershop etc ) and had no problems. I had one item that was backordered and Justin told me about it the second I ordered it. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them.

Yes you are right, YOUR POST IS BS TO THE MAX. Just because you never had an issue doesnt mean that someone else cant or didnt.

granted, LS. hasn't been the my favorite since they started having people answer the phone that have no idea what an Evo is...But then again they carry a ton of parts and always answer the phone. Personally i think you have a slightly unrealistic idea of customer service. Apreciate and reward good service with patronage and praise, but do not expect it in this industry and know who your dealing with.

Phone girl takes credit card # enters sale, sends to shipping, done... next. That's LS.
You want to talk to someone who works on Evos and cares about your situation, don't look for the best deal in the universe and be prepared to wait in line for a second. There are many vendors here that will take care of you.

If you want a huge selection of parts, brands and low prices, relize it comes with less personal service.

I blame you and your lack of research and understanding of the situation, and have equal distain for your weak whiny post.

Because they purchase their parts from a wholesale distributer like MCD out of Orlando...

If you don't understand how the hierachy of the parts business work, I'm sure this thread is outrageous.

There are tons of bottle necks and back doors, if you don't physically see the part in the display case at a shop, then it's at least 2 steps away from getting to you.

i feel your pain brother, but me personally i have never had any problem with them. i always received my parts in a timely fashion. never late. but the part of about the vendors having **** in stock is always a lie with all vendors, most will say they have it to make a sale only few can back that up. i had a problem with Gruppe-S and they toke more time then they should have with my jdm bumper it was more then 4 months so i just stoped shopping with them. but really lancershop suprizes me. they have always been good with shipping items.
