hey, he told them of the situation and they agreed. If they can't do it, at least don't charge the restocking fee as its their fault.

There are always people here who refuse to READ before they post... or atleast try to digest what they read before posting.

This dude is completly right to be pissed off if everything is as he posted. I know from personal experience that Lancershop has bad & good service.

My girl has had problems with them in regards to items being "in stock" and then either not arriving at all (had to get a refund) or getting here way later than expected. They also were so unhelpful to her on the phone when she tried to place an order for a VARIS CF hood, that she ended up never ordering it.... and a side note, she's good at ordering stuff for my car as she has had a great success rate with other vendors.

I can vouch for Justin at Lancershop though, he has been very good when I have worked with him buying parts for my EVO.

Cneio,

Sorry to hear that bro, that is some bad luck and I hope Lancershop can resolve this issue.

I have been a customer of Lancer Shop for a while. Anyway, I ordered stuff from Lancershop multiple times, I only had one issue with them and it was solved in a nice manner. I ordered one of the first Evo 9 badges to be sold in the USA, they lost my badge but after a few days and a couple of phone calls they did replace it.

Like I say, I am willing to support you but I would rather have you contact them and see what they can do. I agree with you on the shipping criteria, I see this happening over and over and I can tell you that this is BS.

The vendors should give us a comminmnet to a good shipping practices and a reliable customer service. Per instance I am waiting for a $1000 purchase I made for my Dodge Stealth(full turboback and air filter), the company charged me 3 weeks ago and hasn't even shipped yet.

There are a lot of ****y vendors out there but I honestly don't think Lnacershop is one of them, give them one more try.

Carlos

I called them directly from Brazil and spend US$100 on the phone! Skype does not work well in Brazil. They told me over the phone they had the springs
and retainers and confirmed it on the email! Amazing ...

US$116,51 for UPS (Ship Rush) 2nd Day Air, this was the most expensive and fastest option they had. Imagine if they had overnight FedEx and I had paid for that? I was considering in asking my other friend who received the package to mail it to Brazil, but to make things worse, our customs is on a STRIKE! There goes my valve springs + retainers ... I bought these just to install my cams and have no problems when reving the car up to the high rpms...

You want to talk to someone who works on Evos and cares about your situation, don't look for the best deal in the universe and be prepared to wait in line for a second. There are many vendors here that will take care of you.

If you want a huge selection of parts, brands and low prices, relize it comes with less personal service.

I blame you and your lack of research and understanding of the situation, and have equal distain for your weak whiny post.
Really? So please tell give me list of shops that I will have to wait in line but that are reliable. Can you send that to me? I apreciate it.

By the way, I called several, several shops that are sponsors of www.evolutionm.net and after I spoke to several of them I thought lancershop could deliver the parts I ordered. I had only 1 week window to get the parts delivered and if they gave me their word, I beleived it. Maybe this is my fault, beleiving in the vendor.

But I think that if we, EVO owners, do not complain about poor service from vendors that sponsors this forum, then how do we expect to have good service? I have disdain for your attitude as this will only make vendors not care when they practice poor customer service. If everyone complains then maybe the vendor will listen and treat their customers better. After all, they are in business because of us anyway.

+1 If bad customer service doesn't affect their business (i.e. complaining about them on a forum), then they have no reason to change. If his first step was to post his complaint on the forum, then that would not be right, but he called them, and apparantly spent a lot of money doing it, trying to make it right. We are the ones spending our money, we should not have to constantly make exceptions for irrisponsible vendors.

I thought they were very nice until my friend arrived in Brazil and I didnt see the valve springs. I have been waiting for 2 months now to install my cams and I just wanted the springs to be safe in the high rpms (as I am installing the 264s). If something goes wrong in my car down here, it is a PAIN and very, very expensive to fix it. So for me the springs are cheap insurance. Now they became expensive insurance as I lost money on re-stocking and shipping.

Just so you have an idea, the price for a set of brake pads (front and back) for my EVO down here is US$2000,00 (two thousand american dollars). I bought 2 sets from HAWK and paid only US$400 (which my friend brought for me). Now I either have to wait for a friend to go to the US again or install the cams without the springs and retainers.

I contacted www.lancershop.com and they told me about the re-stocking fee even though it was not my fault.

I also had some issues too. I ordered a Greddy Ti exhaust and waited two 2 weeks, emailed them back about my exhaust, they say the don't have any in stock but their site didn't say anything about out of stock. He told me that if i wanted a different exhaust he'll give me a good price...so asked him about the HKS Carbon-Ti he says nope...so i told him to refund my money which they did.

A month later i order a boost gauge and pod. received the boost gauge a week later but no gauge pod. Called them and they said that they'll look into it for me to call back the next day. I called back and they said that it was just shipped. I'll never order from them again...

FYI, I order my exhaust, dp, injen intake from LOGIC and he told me that i would get it in 2 business day...I got it in two business days....Thumps up for LOGIC.
But that's just me...some people might think differently and have different experience.

I have ordered several items from lancershop. they have always shipped, but their service is really slow. takes 7-9 days to get a part from michigan to idaho. I order from a guy on the east coast and it's here in 4 days. their prices seem to be the same as everybody elses, but shipping is slow....

not surprised about the shipping 2 days after the cancel date. that's what happens when a company gets too big. bet you wouldn't have had that problem with a smaller company.
good luck..
