how tight do you guys tighten the t clamps?

I've got the nisei engineering pipe kit and am worried that I might distort the pipes?

Driving down the interstate and BOOM!! The same happened to me. But thanks to EVOM I've read a bunch of posts about this so that was the first thing I checked. Sure enough the lower i/c pipe blew right out of the coupler to the i/c. That was nerve racking though being on the ground trying to fix it and everyone just zooming by.

mine likes to blow off from the IC itself... from the UICP side. f'd me over because that one you have to take the bumper off to get back on well.

i've heard of that happening to some of the 9 owners, never happen to me stock but after i changed to the injen kit, same thing happened to me, i was at wot in second gear i believe and i hear a BOOM!!!! it scared the **** outa me, only thing running through my mind is did i blow the motor? or did an axle break for some reason. anyways as i finally got it to the side with the help of my pops after i called him mind everyone its 6:00 am he wasnt too happy to hear that. but when we seen it was just that i was SOO relieved. i if i were you i would definetly upgrade those clamps you dont want that happening to you again. especially somewhere far and you have no tools or light.

I had this problem also. In my mr2 I can't get past 19psi without them blowing off. I need to just buy a bulk of really good clamps.

I was having the same problem even with the T-bolt clamp......The hose was shot!

I put the Samco Ic pipes on with a T-bolt and now all is well!

Breeze constant torque hose clamps or their t-bolt clamps along with a good spray of this over the i/c pipe ends before the coupling goes over it. Work fast...
