Daily Driver GT35r
400 whp is still alot of power guys, thats 500 at the crank! no matter what turbo you decided to upgrade to, i think there is alot of mis information on the 35r and its street use. personally i think you need an extensive mod list to really get the most outta it.

I drive my car daily and it is going in for a 35R this weekend, BUT I do have an alky kit I'll be running with pump gas
Ted B's car made some very impressive #s on the stock block with a 35R. On pump gas ONLY it made 397 whp on a DD, and 430 whp at 25 psi..

BTW this thread is old, just noticed that..

I know this thread is old.
I've been daily driving my 35R for over a year now. At first Dave tuned it for 24 psi w/alky/93. I got another tune last Sept which Dave tuned it for 26 psi w/alky/93 (he got better at tuning
). This is still on the stock bottom end/top/intake/TB. Daily driving my car is a blast, unfortunately I never got any pump gas track numbers only race gas.
I'm taking to Dave next week for a build. Daily driving boost will be an estimated 30 psi/alky/93
.

From what I have seen and the track numbers posted. The ATP kit sufferes from it's hotside. Although it bolts right up, it adds lag and the boost falls off wy before it is supposed to. I have yet to see any successful track times from these and if they did work as well as say the AMS kit or the Buschur kit, everyone, including myself, would own one.
i have rocked my 35r for 6 months, no problems what so ever
19psi 92 oct little over 400 wheel
and then on someweekends i bump it up to 29 and pull 507 on c16.
its slowmotion custom kit and im m on stock buttom end. i drive to school 5 dyas weeks with about 30 miles aday or so

I daily drive my 37r and it's not bad at all, running 93/alky @ 28psi. The only thing that kinda sucks is the AEM tune, my part throttle needs some fine tuning but thats besides the point.

And just for the record, my boost sure as f*ck isn't falling off by 8k... Not sure when it ever will... I do have a .82 hotside though.
