Daily Driver GT35r

hey guys I am just curious how you think an evo would be with a 35r as a daily driver. The only member I saw with a really great right up has been ("Invoice Evo") Can anyone else give some info on if this would be a good move or if I am asking for trouble. I would want to run this set-up on 93 octane only at 20-22psi.

Thanks for your help.
Chris

I guess you can do it. 22psi is worthless on a 35r... after 26psi and up is where these turbo shine.

You can daily drive it at 23psi.. with the right tuning and suporting mods you can get 450whp on pump no alky(yes it can be done and has been done a few times) ... The GT35R as a daily driver would not be a waste if setup correctly

For a street car I wouldnt do a GT35R w/o the 2.3L bottom end.... if you go all out drag then sure go with either a built 2.0L or a built 2.3L

I'd suggest a 50 Trim for a stock bottom end for a daily driver...

if you are looking for a daily driver that you are definately never going to throw Meth or Race gas at, i would highly reccommend a 50 trim turbo.

On pump gas at 22 psi i made 430whp with better spool and response than a 35r with my turbotrix 50 trim.

If you're going to use meth or race gas, the 35r is the way to go.......but if you're set on only pump gas........50 trim all day long........IMO
