Squeaking when pushing in thew clutch

somethings squeaking when i push in the clutch it just started out of nowhere when i started my car... i figured its outside somewhere i imagine pressure plate or something like that... it would be so nice if it was something i could get to and grease it. Oh and im on a new act clutch aprox 3,000 miles...

I get a nice click every now and then, but no squeak. That is unless I'm wearing rubber soled shoes and my feet are wet.

Maybe its the clutch pivot arm on the trans, but I doubt something like that would be worn out already.

I determined its outside... it just started lastnight when i started my car up to go home from a friends never done it before and i had an act clutch put in 2500 miles ago by a good dealer... I hope its not the pressure plate either way its prob behind the tranny and would have to be pulled to fix what a pain in the *** hopefully it goes away

I have a ACT clutch and mine does this also...not all the time but sometime. I contacted ACTman about it and he said that the throw out bearing may not be greased well. He could not really tell me if there would be any long term effect of this.

you might just need to apply some grease in between where the slave cylinder actuates the clutch fork. sometimes most of the grease gets wiped off when removing the cylinder and whoever puts it together forgets to grease there. since it's outside, that's what i'd check.

Grease all moving parts, bleed the system if you're really paranoid and have the time.
