If you want a nice exhaust sound that isn't too loud get that $1500 dollar Ralliart Exhaust... if you want a nice close to burbly but not exhuast get the $1500 dollar Fujisubo exhaust
It's more the un-equal length headers that make the sound, you can make a Subaru sound pretty much like an EVO with different headers. Most Subarus run OEM style headers to keep that sound.

Tanabe Ultra Medalion. People like it because it doesn't sound raspy like a honda. Without a cat it has a low burbly sort of tendency. Its not quite a subaru sound but it does sound a little WRC.

It's funny to me to see some of the suggestions here for "good" exhausts. I see a lot of exhausts come through here and there are only a few "good" ones. Many of the one listed here you can find pictures of in our Forums at www.buschurracing.com. What you will find there is pictures of various systems with reducers in them, mild steel rusted flanges and tubing, resonators, poorly designed restrictive mufflers etc.

Remember, just because YOU bought it and spent your hard earned money on it doesn't really mean recommending the POS to someone else makes it the best you can get for your money.

There is a lot of crap out there.

Buscher or JunBL gets my vote....

Both are quality systems

Ams has a nice system too, but if your looking for noise that isnt your best choice (its relatively quiet)

I think Helix is the sound you are looking for. Add some 272's and you will be "burplin" your bumper off! LOL
