stock turbo is great for autoX because of its response. im curious to see how an VIII TME would respond on a IX with the MIVEC. no point in really going with a big turbo for autoX due to the lag factor

i know that the apexi has great low and mid range power. but i heard that they are stoppin production of the turbo. so i might not got the monewy on time to get it. thats why im lookin for replacements.

you have to look at what your plans for the car are really. if you plan on autoX'ing you dont really want a big turbo. ive never looked at the apexi kit tho

if u want instant boost id say stick with the stock turbo. its good for decent power and spools super quick. A good tune like one from vishnu will make it even better. exhaust would help as well. and if you want to stick with the stock turbo and really go for it then look into cams. the less lag the better in autoX

Apexi turbo is good for low end? Are you sure? I thought the Apexi RX-6 or whatever was a huge turbo. Do they make more than one for the Evo? If so, you need to specify.

The best turbo for you to auto-x is the stock turbo. Do you realize how awesome it is? If not, please sell it to me as soon as you upgrade.

thetox, my car already has a intake and exhaust on it. i was gonna flash it in a couple of months hopefully. hey wartalon apexi only has one kit for the evo. hey gt354revo8(justin) i was lookin in that kit not because of vakamon, they use that same kit in the cyber evo and sparco evo. thats what got me lookin into it not farid or vakamon. how much power do you think the stock turbo can handle. i was gonna stick with the stock one for awhile. thanks for all of the opinions.

Cast iron exhaust manifold and o2 housing, can bolt on any GT turbo you want. No cracking, bolts right up to the stock dp postition. Costs less than some other turbo kits. Great clearance from the radiator. Available from RRE or SBR. RRE has a stealth version with the stock heat shield.

I'm thinking you'd enjoy it with a 3071.
