Fellow Evo Owners,
For those of you whose surf the boards daily, the recent rise of vandalism and theft of evos has become alarming. My car was keyed about 2ft on the hood. It seems like every otherday there is another sad post by some unfortunate member who got their beautiful car vandalized. I have opted to drive my beater even on Fridays. Im asking all evo owners not to escalate the situation by making remarks on rival car forums and not to troll. People hate our vehicles because they envy us. If you hear your car alarm go off, go check your car! dont fall back asleep. Report any type of vandalism towards your automobile. Police have been known to give us a hard time, but at the same time they should be protecting our property. We need to get this out in the open and stop this stupidty. Law enforcement is already aware of the high theft rate of our vehicles, they should also be aware of the high rate of vandalism targeted at our vehicles. I have already reported the damage my car has incurred in my neighborhood, and now i have noticed an increased amount of patrolling in my neighborhood alone. Lets help everyone out by stopping these idiots. In the end we are all apart of the same community, lets help each other.

It is very upsetting to see people act this way towards Evo's, there are a LOT of haters around the car community. Maturity levels are dropping, crime levels are raising, and what are we the Evo owners suppose to do about this. I park my car in a garage all day long and take it out and park it ONLY when i HAVE to. I parked at a friends house one evening to go out for about a hour and came back to a hood full of eggs. It was very upsetting since he lives in a area that is VERY peacefull and i have never done anything to offend anbody.

My co-worker says his friends are sick of the evos gunning it in neighborhood, making repeated circles around the block going real fast and just plain thinking they are hot **** (so he says).

I guess its because I live in a somewhat small town... Right now im the only person with an evo in the city. Everywhere I go I get looks or someone trying to mess with me, the other night I was on my way home from work and some guy randomly pulled up next to me and gave me the finger lol I got a good laugh from it but wow I never thought I would get this much attention. hahaha

Yup it's wrong but there are people that don't like or are just plain sick of "ricers" and their ruckus/attitudes which is what I try not to be so my car isn't hated on.
Everybody should drive normal and respect other driver on the road. i've been tailgate alot by Civic.. Truck... all kind of Acura. Keep it cool, drive at speed limit and they will get away within 5 mins. Respect other driver like the way you want to be treat with.
So far the worst I've had happen is some punks spit on my car when I was driving by. I was by myself and they were a group of 3, so I let it go. I was pissed though. I wasn't pissed so much at the spit, but more the general attitude of people that would make them do that. I love my car. When I first got it, I would randomly walk into my garage just to look at it sitting there. I waited so long for the Evo to come to this country and it was a dream come true to finally have it in my garage. To have some hater spit on it, it's all I can do to spare them their life.
