I didn't get a letter, but i'm not surprised. This will be the second raise in rates over the past year that I've seen from statefarm.

Chalk it up to "smart" drivers.

Can't really afford much of a rate hike....How much of a rate hike is it for you if you don't mind me asking?

OK, I just reviewed my policy and my payment actually went down 20 dollars, probably because I realized I had a very low deductible before and adjusted it. I do recall hearing from my insurance agent that the Evo Did bump itself up higher as far as its 'risk' goes or something like that.
FWIW - Multiple Car & Home discount on non primary driver =

Jun 05 - Dec 05 = 413.53
Dec 05 - jun 06 = 446.67
Jun 06 - Dec 06 = 425.81

Luckily I haven't had a ticket in over five years.

I have State Farm and didnt get a letter? When I moved to Pittsburgh and got my evo last year they said it went up because of that but I didnt think they did that until the end of the year after they compile all the data (claims). I will keep my eye out for this letter and see what happens. If this keeps up im going to have to get married so my rates drop

I called my agent today and they said it because of the car itself !!! Lot of claims with the actual car they said !!! I guess that means they're being stolen ,totalled,or just involved ina lot of BS !!
