I was under the car doing some things and noticed the mid car and back there is alot of black grease/oil on the car, gas tank cover. It gets all over everything that touches it. I can't remember if my 03 Evo had it, but this car is only a few months old. It makes me think something is leaking and spraying all over everything when I drive. I have not spots on the ground from where I park. I did a search and could not find any posts on this. Does anyone else have this grease all over everything.

 

yep, this messy **** they put on takes a while to "gell"....

Wait till you replace your exhaust. I had to throw away the clothes I was wearing I was so covered in the stuff.

That stuff never hardens my 03 was 2 years old when I removed my coilovers to trade in the car and I had that #### everywhere.

 

I think it just depends on how it came from the factory. I've seen some worse than others. Mine is particularly greasy. Others i've seen more spray on bedliner for trucks. Some has actually been hard to the touch.
