Hey guys i have a quick question. Will 2006 be the last year for the 9? the reason i ask is when my wife and i get back from Iraq next january we want to get a Evo 9 to park next to the STi. will there be a 2007 Evo 9? We would pefer the 9 over the new 10 that is coming. Thank in advance, Brett.

 

I'd expect '07's to start showing up in a few months and the X is still a concept as far as I know. So yes, I would bet there will be an '07 IX.

Off Topic.. WOOW time is flying by it almost 2007...It Felt like yesterday we where in 2000

There will be no 07 IX.... the last IX's will be the SE which are being ordered now. So get it on mid tour and garage it... AF only does 4-6 months right... buy it and park it...it isnt that long and the deals now at HB and SC Mitsu are ridiculous...

 

If the '07 was going to be a X then there would be some word about it I would think. Are you guys thinking they're going to skip a year?

 

no from what all the dealerships are saying its gonna be more like 18 months...go look at the IX SE and X threads...there is no 07 unless they dont see all the 06 which will still be 06

 

So will there still be new evo 9's on the lot say next january or febuary? Because thats when i get back and will have a nice chunk of change to trow down.

 

No, there won't be any in January unless they somehow don't sell them all. If there are any left, they will likely be very rare and thus marked up above MSRP. Could get lucky, though.
