I am still giving him the benefit of the doubt. I will apologize publicly if he has already shipped my stuff and can provide proof that it was shipped on the 5th and he had some honest reason why he didnt respond.

But, his actions lead me to believe otherwise.

We'll see, I guess!

Threads like this really goes to show that the feedback ratings and overall legitmacy in regards to ads/pictures is very important.

Notice the amazin wasian doesnt have a lick of buyer/seller feedback and look at his ad for selling: "195 shipped to your door........

forge unos MBC black 65 shipped

AMS lower IC pipe 150 OBO"

That just looks sketch to me. No feedback and not even a decent ad. When I post an ad for sale I list if the parts are new/used, condition, etc. This ad sucks.

As for the feedback, well, I would not buy anything from someone without some. It gives me a lot of confidence. I know that sucks for new guys but hey... sorry. Look at my feedback, would you tell me that I look like a sketchy seller/buyer? I think not. Be careful!

before purchasing my evo, i owned a mazdaspeed protege. i used to be a regular on msprotege.com

anyway, they had a rule about posting in the for sale thread. you have to take a picture of the item(s) with a piece of paper that had the current date and your nickname on it. otherwise your for sale thread would get deleted.

i found it rather ridiculous and troublesome, but now i can see how doing that would be safer to buyers.

I retract my statment from above. I was just trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. But with the new info on this guy's other deals. I have to say there is no excuse for this kind of behavior from a fellow member and evo owner. I hope it all works out for you and you get your part or your money.

This is not interially true, i used paypal, and got my 4500 bucks back from a turbo kit that i didnt recieve anything for 8 months, with tearstone. So its possible if you talk to your bank and get them to file a fraudulent funds transaction. This just tells paypal that it was not authorised by you and they have to give the money back. hope that helps if it gets to late.

i really hope that nick gets smart and refunds our money out of his own will, because i am in the process of getting his full mailing info. i'll be extremely tempted to give this information out, and have some local oklahoma evo residents pay him a visit. hell, i might even pay him a visit myself.

EDIT:

i also found out that he hangs out on dsmtuners.com
i posted a thread to warn members of him in the Hangout Section

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/show...7#post50422297

he has his own website: http://www.xanga.com/Project_TSI

check out the picture of the KID leaning against that silver evo. he does NOT deserve to own an evo.

he has street racing vids (rolls eyes)

*update* he shut his website down. i guess he has the time to shut his website down instead of sending replies. cool!

Hi everyone,

I closed this thread (for now) as it is getting out of hand. I understand the anger that occurs if you feel you have been ripped off, but threats and personal information will only cause more problems. And probably delay any equitable solution.

I have PM'd the seller and he has responded. I'm asking for additional information. and will post a summary here. Thanks.

EDIT:

I am waiting for additional responses from the seller. Until this is resolved, the seller may not sell any additional items on this site and all members are cautioned against any further transactions with him.

*UPDATE*

AmazinWasian (aka Nick Nguyen) refused to refund any money, therefore he was permanently banned from this forum thanks to SpeedLimit and the other mods. it will give us evo owners one less thing to worry about now. this thread has been unlocked, but no personal info or threats are to follow or else it will be locked again. oh well... :P
