Am I being scammed???????

hi everyone. i just want to know if you guys think i'm being scammed.

Amazin' Wasian has a for sale thread and is selling a safc, licp, etc.

i purchased his AMS licp after looking at a picture that he linked me to:

and i quote: "ok heres the pic of every thing that comes with it.....as you can see its all ready to be packaged up and shipped...

http://www.leaguelineup.com/nettie/...AMS-ICP-010.jpg "

i looked at the pic and it looked GOOD for a 'used' licp. so anyway, i paypal him last night.

afterwards, i was looking for an install thread for the AMS licp, and check out what i stumbled upon:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/showthread.php?t=186143

check out one of the pictures. one of them looks exactly like HIS, right? it even has the same damn leaf on the bottom corner. looks pretty shady, huh??

i messaged him about the picture and asked him why he used someone else's pic, AND if he could just send a different pic.

i know he's read my PM's (thanks to message receipts), but he hasn't replied AT ALL. i've been scammed online before and i am just hoping i don't get scammed again.

does anyone know this guy? did i just get scammed??

thanks...

*update* after several PM's sent to him, i finally got one back. you tell me what you guys think.

"What do you want? And actually I havnt read any of you PMS this one just got my attention......I don't like ppl that bug the **** outta me while I'm working.....you'll get your **** asap and that's all you need to know period....."

why the hell is HE pissed? i'm not the one that lied. am i right or wrong??

Haha. I was thinking the exact same thing. When I order something, I always ask when the seller is going to ship and a tracking number. I've never had issues with that before. This guy is just being a jerk.

You need to file a claim immediately with Paypal. They will only resolve the dispute within 20 days. After that time you will need to go with your credit card, and if you paid with cash (from your bank) you're screwed.

Maybe he used the pic he did because he does not have a dig camera or maybe it was just easier to use it as the parts are the same. But maybe he is scamming you. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you.

Anyone that is negotiating with you like that obviously has a negative attitude and I predict you're going to lose your money. And for the guy that said that maybe he used another pic because he didn't have a camera is bull. If he can't borrow a digital camera and he rather spend the time searching the internet for someone that has the exact same thing he's selling obviously has a different purpose in mind... If i where you I would retract payment immediately!!!! It's obviously he's trying to ignore you. Worst case scenario he's a lazy bum who likes to get paid but delay on delivering the goods.. I would treat it like any other business.. Tell other people about your experience and never buy from him again. GET a refund.. ASAP.

thanks guys.

south side, my paypal acct is linked to my checking acct at the bank. i guess we'll see what happens.

i mean, normally when dealing with people i don't know i always want to give the person the benefit of the doubt and trust them. but just the thing with the picture and him not wanting to explain it just makes everything look shady and makes me not want to trust the guy anymore. although, i am curious to see if he actually does pull through.

i wouldn't have been as scared if i didn't see his (0) seller rating and his status is still "newbie".

i mean, it's the same for me, but i log into socalevo.net more than this website.

Good luck with PayPal. Personal experience, outside of Ebay, they didn't do sh*t for me.
