Oil filter seal is a crushable one and is replaced everytime you change the oik filter. If that's what you're talking about. I cant think of any oil seal on the oil filter except the crushable one.

The oil DRAIN PLUG has a crushable metal seal that is replaced each time the oil is changed. The oil FILTER has a rubber gasket built into it's base which creates a seal.
Finding another filter and replacing it should be very easy. Dealers stock this part. I've purchased 2 already.

I've been wrenching for the better part of thirty years and have never come across a crushable filter seal for a car. Doing my 1,000 mile oil change tomorrow and was getting ready to go out to the garage and make sure that the dealer had included this new crushable seal with the filter. Yep, I do have a new crushable seal for the drain plug.
Thanks for caring!
