Just got rearended...
I was just rearended. It didn't look that bad when I first got out to look at it, new bumper, maybe tail lights, and alittle aligning, but when I got home I popped the trunk and the metal trunk well is completely buckled, pretty hardcore on the left side just outside that small compartment, and its buckled all the way up to the end of the spare tire well closest to the rear seat.
Has anyone had this happen?
Any chance its totalled?
Pics coming...

They're still working on it.
Apparently they had to order a new trunk well, or something of the sort.
I'm not too sure how they're going to fix this, sounds kind of sketchy to be honest.
Should I be worried?

i got rear ended twice, first time almost no damage to the bumper cover, but had a crinkle on the trunk frame rail, so it ended up on the frame rack.
second time, no damage underneath, but a scratch on the bumper.
Do NOT take the money from the insurance guys. My damage turned out to be twice as much as the original extimate.

It depends on the shop you go to. My father wrecked the **** out of his vintage Mustang and the body shop that has it is unbelievable. Frame straightening tech has come a long way in just 10 years.. the good frame machines can true a car up beyond factory spec. He was sure his Mustang was totalled and now it's nearly done, better than new.
Do you know much about the shop your car is at?

Yes, my family and I take every car we have to this body shop, and have never been dissapointed. They always do great work.
But none the less, I'm still alittle concerned.
