dude if that was your car and you had no insurance you're F- - - - - - I don't think your friends insurance is going to touch your car. Why would they? His insurance company never recieved insurance premium for that evo!
I mean honestly, it's totally your fault for letting him drive or take your car.....that is how the judge will prolly see this situation.

Unless you plan to charge him with auto theft! Damn he is all smiles in that pic like he really accomplished something.......what an idiot!

Scam or sheer stupidity, fabrication, actual story or a little bit of each, the worst thing you could have done was post your story online.

Looks like you had fun though right?

I would hate to sue my friend, I hope it all works out for you.

alright his is not insurance fraud. i think if someone was going to scam a car, they wouldnt drive themselves into a wall.... all we did was meet 3 friends up and a buddys shop and all of this happened... we werent even there for 5 min.s i have no reason to scam the car... at all..

so you drove your un insured evo...left the keys in it ...your drunk friend took the car...drove it into a building despite having expierience with high power street cars... you didn't call the police... and your friend took pictures of himself SMILING in the wrecked car...

did I miss anything?

Your dumb for driving a new car w/o insurence... your twice dumb for leaving your keys in it... your tripple dumb for letting your drunk friend get anywhere near the car. .. your X ammount times dumb for crashing into a building and not calling the bacon... and come on he's smiling in your wrecked car... ARE YOU KIDDING ME.

I would have to say that NO insurence co. is going to pay for that. the only way your going to get it done is your friend is going to to have to come out of pocket for it...

good luck.

Your friend's auto insurance will cover it, just like it would had he wrecked a rental car.

You'd better hope your buddy takes the rap and follows through on it with his insurer though because without a police report, you won't have much of a case if it goes to a civil court case and he starts denying he was driving it...
