Horrendous Mileage

Can someone explain to me? Tell me what could be causing this? I don't know the exact mpg I'm getting, but I know it is going fast!

Thanks!

BoosT is your enemy when it comes to gas conservation. Anywhere between 15-20 mpg is your best bet depending on driving style. On highway, maybe you can achieve a little better. Also, the more power modifications you have, the lower the gas mileage you get. I get 18 highway, 15 local in my 4G63 Powered dsm with the mods listed below. I do get a little carried away with boost at times. This is on a T25 running 16 lbs...you're on a 20g running 21 lbs of boost so I would expect your mileage to be around my mileage, if not, probably lower. Also, the evos only carry a 14.0 gallon tank so you wont get too many miles on a single tank which is why it seems to "go fast".

what exact mileage do you consider horrendous? you're driving a race car, when you boost you get around 5-10mpg so average would be around 20-23 if you don't cane it all day long.

Check your mpg... I only get about 21mpg and I do pretty much all highway driving and like lancer lover said its only a 14 gallon tank.. Im at the pump three times a week usually.. I wish there was an 8th gear to drop it to like 2k at 80mph

If you don't know your MPG, how can anyone explain what isn't there?

I usually get about 20 all around, if I am under that then I start looking for issues.
