To follow up on my previous comment, I did pick up between 1-2 mpg, which isn't bad considering I only get ~22 in this car. 5-10% gain.

I know my car is faster staight line then before my alignment. I have a buddy with an SRT-4 with a bunch of mods and before I would only pull 3-4 cars on him. Now I pull a good 7-8 cars

its amazing how much people argue over some things. whether or not you make 30whp or 5whp or even zero whp is besides the point. get the alignment so your car stays straight, improves gas mileage, provides acceptable tread wear for our style or driving, and most importantly for peace of mind. peace of mind because someone with your tastes and interests aligned you car right, not some dude who makes $11/hr plus commission for the amount of cars he completes...

Glad you revived it All these little things must add up, my RS recently ran 9.97 at 142.32 in full street trim. I credit all of it to the alignment! haha

I took the GFs car in after she had a little fender bender from a few months ago. MAN, the toe was completely trashed. She had at least 3 degrees positive toe all the way around. Talk about dangerous!!! And all her positive caster was gone.

Omni Brake was able to get everything back within spec by dropping the front crossmember and attaching everything again. Its damn close to spec and the car now drives like its new!!

David, I'm sure some of the HP came from less drive train loss at the tires. You took out some toe? Straightened up the F/R? So the rear & front is not fighting each other anymore? Toe does cause drag @ the tires.

I was hearing from some people that the EVO doesn't hold alignment at all.
That one night at the drags & it should be redone, or after hitting a few bad roads with potholes.

Mine was setup 10kmi ago, and has a track day & many bad roads under it. It feels spot on still

What are other peoples experiences? How often do you have your car aligned?
