Take it to a decent shop that does sports car alignments. There is usually always a shop locally that does alignments for all the autocrossers, road racers, race teams, etc.
Razor lab - I dont know what kind of area you live in but if you think that an AWD alignment in Connecticut is $30 you are seriously mistaken

There are no sports car alignment shops in this area that I know of and you can be sure if there were they would be charging a lot more than Buschur

I am sitting in my car now after confiring with Bruno the alignment tech at Mavis Tire they are agreeing to let me sit in my car while it is being aligned so that my 300 plus lbs can be inisde when the alignment is done

Firestone would not let me sit in the car - again for liability reasons

The machine they are using here is a

Hunter DSP600

These guys are being much more welcoming to me than Firestone - I wish I had come here first

It was funny as I drove in some guy stopped by as I pulled into the parking lot who was thinking that my car was the famous Buschur 8 second Evo and had bet his friend agaisnt the AMS `car would would be the first to the 8's

I was trying to explain that my car just says Buschur on it but it was the black car which went 8's

After a while there was a huge commotion as all the mechanics became intrested in my machine and everyone seemed suprized that I was driving this car about on the road with no effort

Anyway - I am sitting in the air now and they are trying to hook up this machine and see what they can do

Apparently the HUNTER DSP600 is a very top end alignment machine and is the choice of many OEM engineering departments

Bro - they may not be that close . . . .

But they have to be more close than the way it is now with NO aligment done in 3 years and about 4 suspensions on the car and the front end being apart about 20 times

At least thus far Bruno was able to get a reading on my car with this machine - unlike Firestone which could not even get a lock on the car

and now Bruno is working his magic on the car

Time will tell

I am just sitting being dead weight now

Hopefully you ran your thesis through a spell checker prior to submission.

I am just pointing out that anyone can tie up band width with insults and hot air. There are people out there who have some measure of accomlishment under there belt - DAVID BUSCHUR is a perfect example who should be afforded a certain measure of respect based upon what they have done. It pains me seeing a guy like yourself questioning anything that David Buschur says as he is one of the most knowlegable tuners on DSM performance in the world.

Obviously people like yourself enjoy to poke insults and make smart *** comments about others who are trying to actually do something and help others

Case in point a person such as yourself questioning my spelling when I was an Editor of a Law Journal previously - what ever man

I thought this thread was about people trying to make their cars faster by aligning them properly so the wheels are all pointed in a straight direction ?

To find a local performance alignment shop, go join / ask a question at your local SCCA mailing list / web forum. Or pick up a copy of your local SCCA magazine / newletter / newspaper. Or ask your local road racing community or fellow road racer.
