Get a E-Flash. Buy Tractix cable. Download ECUFlash.

Then you can put your stock ROM on when needed (warrenty stuff).

So how do you go about getting this E-flash. I searched on this forum, but didnt find anything. Also, you would have to be lucky enough to find the download of ECUFlash that matches your mods right? Im assuming all this costs a good amount more than $200 (price for Dynoflash) or else everyone would be doing this?

90$ The tractrix cable here......

http://www.tactrix.com/product_info.php?products_id=34

Free..Download ECUFlash

http://openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash

Buy an E-flash from your favorite vendor

Dynoflash-$50 Al will tell you how to order (also Al sells the cable needed)

Jestr-$50

TTP and Ivey Tuning also offer E-Flashes

Use the cable and program to flash the E-Flash onto your ECU.

The total is only $140-150.

Because the cable and ECUFlash is still kinda new. Mail in flashes will be obsolete soon.

also, when I said "Al will tell you how to order (also Al sells the cable needed)"
I thought we where in the dynoflash forum, but we're not so he wont tell you how to order.

dont buy the mail in dynoflash... either do the ecuflash method, or find a good tuner and get a custom flash/tune... im going to tuning technologies pesonally...

Edited, you can give your opinion without bashing vendors... you've been warned.

Thanks for your thoughts

Its amazing to me how WELL my mail in flash has satisfied so many thousands of Evo owners who have driven their cars for hundreds of thousands of miles without incident or problem

I have more customers going 11 seconds with my mail in tunes than all the other tuners's customers who have gone 11's combined

The bottom line is that my mail in product is a well thought out, carefully testest and proven reliable product at a fair price point of $199 shipped fed ex standard overnight

Literally, the mail in tunes have proven MORE reliable than stock untuned cars and they make great power

There are other options - including tuning it yourself available. However, I feel your comment that my product is "crap" is unwarranted and unjustified.

Thanks
