Al,

For those people that have your mail flash on our cars, and want to go back to stock to visit the dealer. Can we use this eflash software cable to save your map, load the stock ROM from the internet, visit the dealer, and then load on the tuned map again?

Or do we need something special to save.load your tunes?

And BTW, your car will feel slower if you get it flashed from stock, cause the power will be smoother with less boost taper, but it will be faster

Deleting the cat will most certainly gain you more hp than a catback. Figure 8-10 for catback, 18-20 for testpipe. Skip the air filter and spend the $80 on a manual boost controller. Than just pull the flapper out of the stock muffler to open up the exhaust and you're good to go til you save up some more cash.

The stock rom can be read from your ECU with your OWN tactrix cable and saved on your hard drive. Stock to modified maps can be swapped back and forth as much as you like.

Only YOUR map will work on YOUR car as it contains your IMMOBILIZER code.

What you are asking can be done as much as you want.

Wow remote custom tune. How does that work? Wouldn't the customer need a dyno and internet connection in order to make it work?

catback wont do much except for change the sound of your car.

i personally dont like mail in flashes because each car runs differently.

but a flash is the best bang for your buck.

if you can dish out a little more money...you can go to a muffler shop and get a custom straight 3 inch piping made from your dp to exhaust tip....and then flash =)

Just a word of shamless self promotion in this thread

Those considering a mail in or EFLASH! map of what ever kind should please realize that a TUNE is only as good as WHOM is making the tune and how much experience and testing went into that product.

I can only speak from my proven record of reliability and performance obtained by my many thousands of satisfied customers all over the globe.

I have been traveling the USA for the past 3 years from end to end conducting testing and tuning in climates as diverse as Death valley on 91 octane to Alaska on 90 octane and everywhere in between. I have tuned more evos than anyone else in the US and the extensive testing R & D and experience that I have in this field is unrivaled.

Who ever is reading this thread, I want you to know that my craft is not founded upon instant gratification. I don't promise anyone a 30 minute turn around - how could I do that when I am in the middle of tuning someone's car ?

What I promise you is a well craftred and functional map which will operate in a safe and reliable manner for years of service and make your Evo a pleasure to drive.

BTW - for whom ever is quoting the prices of the EFLASH! I offer its currently $99.00 per map and offered only on a limited basis. EFLASH! offers one free adjustment based upon customer obtained data logs. Those interested, contact me by PM or email.

Of course the mail in flash program continues as normal with its guaranted same day service and a $199 shipped price on all Evo 8 - IX maps. The mail in program includes and unconditional guarantee on the ecu as well as the other benefits outlined on the www.dynoflash.com web site.

Thanks for your time

Al

Im gonna go ahead and throw this question out there. No offense to anyone that may be trying to make a business through this or whatever, but just curious about this. Whats to make someone from getting a hold of a large collection of E-Flashes and compiling them on a website for others to download? I mean, theres a general rule of thumb on how to flash a stock evo, or a evo with just a TBE, or a evo with just an intake, or one with a TBE and intake, ETC, ETC, ETC. So why wouldnt people start making a list of the files they were sent? Again, please dont flame me on this, Im just wondering....

Stock map is available HERE without the need to PM or email anyone.

Stock map for 2006 is available by clicking HERE.

Cut and paste the load cells into your OWN map to bring back to stock.

Legal repercussions, vendor embedded signatures, 14,923 Evo owners kicking your *** for ruining the $50 program for them when vendors revert back to custom tuning only at $299 and up, removing that option for the masses.

Again, the only way to optimize the performance of your Evo is through custom tuning. Using someone elses map will either fall short of performance on one side of the bubble or detonate your motor on the other side of the bubble. You are in the tuner's care when you solicit their baseflash and it is their knowledge that will insure you are receiving a suitable basemap for the mods, weather, conditions and octane. Posting of vendor maps is not condoned on ANY website I have ever seen. Only "self attempted" tunes which from what I have seen are very lacking.

Your idea that 2 Evos with TBE and INJEN intakes will have the same tune is far from how it works out in real life. Timing and fueling can be quite different between 2 cars. The knock thresholds can also be at different levels allowing more boost on one car or forcing the reduction of ignition timing on another.

Posting or linking to any vendor maps on evom will likely get your account banned and posts deleted.

Ok, makes sense. Only part I dont get is the part bolded. If two evos with lets say the same TBE require a different tune, then how would E-flashes work? Because all you do is send a lsit of modications right? No details of thresholds or anythign right?
