Can you tell the difference between the MR, RS, and Base Evo from a certain number on the VIN? I am saying because what if you wanted to sell your evo, but it had MR rims, the vortex generator, MR tails, and an MR badge, and no-one could tell the difference, could you get scammed?

And yes you can find out what trim with the vin

I know the physical differences, but they're are always ways around it. (people painting door handles, swapping in a 6 speed. my buddies RS, for example, has power windows.)

do a carfax on it, that will tell you exactly what it is....
