I told my insurance exactly what I have. I even have in writing the value of the vehicle insured. If I am totaled they have no choice but to pay MSRP. ( I paid 500 over invoice ) Also, I received a 10% discount for paying the yearly quote in full to make sure they could not raise my premium. See, on the monthly payers you can get screwed. Even if they wanted more money on me they just get their 10% back. Not a penny more. As I always say, get it in writing.

 

Hey guys, this is interesting to know when I get an Evo. But a question to the Lancer guys, because this is the first time the Lancer name came to the U.S., did some of you experience something like this when the Lancer first came out? Y'know, the Lancer being called like a 2.0L Mirage or something?
