I too was thinking about gutting the cat, but I'm holding off for the complete TBE w/ test pipe. In PA there are two types of the emission state inspections. Which type of inspection is determined by your county of residence. I'm lucky and only have to pass a visual exam of the exhaust. I'll probably use method of using the heat shield of the factory cat to disquise the test pipe. Is there any problem of the shield fitting around the larger diameter pipe of say a Buscher test pipe?
