I need help my project has run into a problem

Perrin has stopped selling/producing o2 simulators. I am not sure weather this is an issue with jonny law or what but I really need and o2 simulator. I am going to be runing a test pipe on my Evo 9, what other o2 simulators are out there that are strong and reliable, My car is daily driven in the north woods of wisconsin.

My list of mods once i find an O2 sim will be ams custom fash+there stage 1 and test pipe (3 inch dp, test pipe, 3inch catback, Intake, Apexi AVC-R boost controller, AEM UEGO O2 Sensor.)

Thanks for your help.

Oh yeah will the factory clamps on the intercooler piping hold 22-24lbs of boost or should I get some t bolts instead. If i do need T bolt clamps how many and what size do i need for the stock intercooler piping.

Thanks again.

Go to a local auto store, buy non-foulers drilloneout with a 1/2 bit screwput the O2 sensor in and adapt the other nondrilled fouler in, cheap and easy. Look in the install forumssection they have it in there,

Or get a High flow cat from AMS instead, I am sure they will cut you a deal.

I have one for an evo 8 that I took out of my car. I believe its the same with the 9, but you could phone perrin and check. PM me if you want it. It cost 50 bucks so you can have it for 20 bucks plus shipping.

I have a Helix HFC and I still get a P0420 every once in a while. I carry a scanner in my car and erase the code on the fly. I hate looking at the light, it annoys me. I guess when it's time for smog I will have to find and O2 simulator so I can pass the cat monitor on OBD2.

Use the Autozone fix! It works PERFECT for everyone, and costs around $5. I've used it for 15,000 miles with 0 problems.

Your factory clamps should hold 22-24 psi just fine.
