That goes the same for me. He wouldnt have had the chance of walking back into the service department and I probably would have slapped the crap out of his boss for acting like it wasnt a big deal.

Like was mentioned.... No one has respect for anyone else's property anymore.

Just as a general tip, you should *always* note your mileage when you drop a car off. Trip and main Odo. Obviously, trip will be cleared for any serious work, but it never hurts to have more info.

If you bring the car in for an oil change, or warranty work on a speaker or something, and there's 5 miles on the Odo... I'm sure you know what to do.

For most things, there should *never* be more than a 1 mile difference on the meter.

that's why I would never drop it off. I've seen how the techs drive the new eclipses and that ticks me off already.

That's why I do my own stuff and if it does go in a shop (other than Buschur) I put the valet map on.

I would have been pissed and probably would have got a free ride in a police car.

Like JRod said that just lack of respect for other peoples property. Its Bs that the service manager didn't do **** about It. I would definately do some more complaning and write a letter or something to mitsu Usa...I would honestly only take my car to the dealership if it was something real serious, I would not want any of those A-holes there driving my car...But man u should of slapped the **** out of that idiot...Good luck with everything.

I would go to the service manager and shout to the top of my voice, ask him to call the general manager and do the same thing to him and go ballistic and kick the tires of all the cars in the showroom until they drag me out. I did that when they messed up the oil pan of my sigma, how much more with the evo.

Someone was talking about that in a thread a little while ago. 3500 RPM fuel cut and like 3k stationary limit.

I'll definately have to do that. =)

Thats a good idea if you leave your car at the valet or some mechanic, but if its a mitsu dealership then you're just telling them you messed with the ECU. Automatic warranty void right there....

This is one of my worst car nighmares. Fortunatly I go to a cool dealer (owned by my brother in law to be) so I don't have to put up with this crap. If I saw that I would 1st tear into the service manager loudly in front of all the other customers. If he did not promise me immediate firing of that d*** I'm tear both their hearts out of their chests and eat them in front of them as they slowly die.

No tolerance!!!
