i would make sure i contacted and reported it to everyone in charge of that dealer plus get it on record with mitsubishi customer service, then any problem i had with the car i would put in a claim that it was caused by the dealer abusing my car. make sure you have everything (complaints) documented. Not to act like a tough guy but if it was me i wouldve slapped the **** out of the guy who beat on it and then call the police and say he attacked me after i confronted him about it and i was just defending myself and he got the worst of it.

Gotta love the Cobb Accesport. Valet mode stalls the car at 3100 rpms.

Yeah that's just ridiculous. They should have security cameras on the dealership lot so ask to see their tapes and report it to the cops. Report them to the BBB. Do whatever it takes...

I would have flipped my lid like most people, But I do also agree with whomever said document the incident. Make them agree that anything wrong or may occur with your vehicle be covered due to the abuse that was done on the "test" drive. This should definitely not be tolerated by any dealer. When I had my DSM, I never took it to any places due to this fear.

whenever i take my car into a dealership (i have an adjustable wga) i take all preload off of the WGA and it leaves the WG open entirely so maybe 3psi at full throttle - they always say " your car seems slow just driving it around the lot " i know they have tried to take it out and flog it but the joke is on them.

it's a good thing the dealership i take my car to works on EVO's daily, so they don't have the need to f*ck with my car.

sucks man. next time, i'd go straight to the tech, and tell HIM to get the manager. don't be afraid to raise all hell. maybe you can get a 15k/30k service out of it.

I'd definitely write a letter to the BBB, Mitsubishi NA, and maybe report it to the police as as attempted theft or wreckless driving.

Modifing the ECU when its going to the dealer for service work would equal a big, fat voided warrenty.
