If he really wants to get even, I say he follows the guy home one night to his mother's house, and then return after he's gone to PIITB.

......but you didn't hear that from me.

Like the others have said never leave your car there without you waiting for it. It's asking for that to happen. Tell them ahead of time that nobody is to drive the car off the lot. Also tell them that you will take pictures of the mileage of the vehicle before and after the service.

They will not let you stand there next to the tech unless they are really stupid. Only employees are supposed to go back there due to hazardous materials. So if they let you go back there they are pretty dumb already.

I guarantee if you act like you are paranoid and they know you are watching them they won't do a damn thing wrong. Especially if they see that camera. Good luck

There are 2 dealerships that are local that have a reputation for everything and anything (including stuff like this). They keep getting away with it, so I can't blame you for not getting any results by speaking to the manager. My best advice is choose your dealership wisely next time, or don't go to any at all.

Good advise. This has been a problem for me in the past. I made it a point to them that no one is to drive my car off the lot. You can have the service writer also write it on the work order. Write down your miles if you are going to leave the car with them. The worst thing you can do to them is not bring your car back and tell everyone you know that they suck. Which I think you are doing...

Thanks for the warning. I'm going to try Westboro Mitsu if I ever have to go to the dealer.

Exactly what I do! I tell them my car is my third leg if they do anything to hurt it I will feel it and strike like a cobra on crack.

PersianEvo,

Unfortunately that is not an isolated case from your local dealer, this happens everyday everywhere. A friend of mine Abner(Slowcar) he dropped off his car at the local Tucson dealer and they drove 150 miles. They also cracked his side skirts while putting it on the lifter.

Like I said man, it is very tough.. sorry to hear your history

Carlos
