I would try some 2000 grit sand paper only sanding on the deepest parts of the scatch. Use Miguires, Cleaner wax, which is more abrassive than polishing wax.

They used what looks to be a razor blade and not a key. It extends from my passenger front fender to the middle bottom of passenger front door. The 3ft long scratch looks to only be in the clear coat. I ran my finger nail over it and it only catches in some places.
How do I go about geting this removed. I think my chances of buffing this out are good. What do you guys recommend I use. I dont have a orbital buffer so anyway I could do this well old fashion elbow grease?

seeing how low the lines were all I can tell you is maybe the punk that did this is real short..... or maybe a child did it?
when i was at the dmv some little mexican was banging on the side of my car and i wanted to beat his *** so bad for doing that then..one day me and my bro went to wendys and these kids were being jackasses about getting a drink and then they went to the bojangles beside wendys and i spit on their car many times for being co*ksuckers to the guy at wendys
