If you got 3 ticket's within 3 years... what would you do? Since I evidentally can't control myself... my car's beg to be driven fast... I guess I have to sell my Evo IX to somebody with better self control. My wife is pissed at me, my insurance company loves me , and the cops can't wait to give this car a hard time.

I unfortunately need to trade to an old Toyota Tacoma or something now that's roughly half the cost of my Evo.

It's practically brand new too... that's what sucks. I broke it in so carefully, washed it every weekend, waved to other evo owners.... ah, I don't want to do it but I know I have to now. What do you guys think that I can get for it? I still owe $28,200 on it!

it's not just from his evo. wow that really sucks, i'm breaking in my car still so i havent unleashed my baby. i wonder how bad it'll be when i do because i often speed in the camry, but it blends in with traffic. at least you still have the bike =p

 

i got 3 tickets within 2 weeks on my bike. I currently have 5 on my record... I had to hire an attorney to remove a couple to save my license.

My advice... SLOW DOWN! Its not worth the extra cash you have to spend on insurance and fines... SD County cops and CHP are brutal.

What color Evo did you buy? I have Apex silver and have never been pulled over, but I also have a radar detector it helps a lot not sure if you have one but if you dont buy one and keep your Evo!!!!!!!

 

I say Apex silver because for an Evo it's probably the most blended color for low key.My thouths anyway.

 

i say trade it in for a 4 cyl 2007 camry, it will keep you from speeding and also save gas while you're at it and the reliability can't be beat. Or maybe get a good radar detector like escort x50

 

My Evo is a WW one... and I have a Escort X50 hard wired into my car.

The thing with the last one was that he didn't ever shoot me with his radar or lasar. It was night time and I was all alone on the road coming home. All of the sudden, a car came hauling butt in the distance behind me and closing pretty fast. I thought it was somebody that wanted to play.... only for a second. I knew I was about to be a peeenalized.

He never used his radar on me, just paced me to get a roundabout speed. He let me go with a "65 in a 50" ticket... we both knew I was going faster than that. He gave me a break because I was honest and up front with him... I told him that I knew I was going too fast.

Going too fast is bad... m'kay.
