I think you should take off the aluminium foil off your head...

Methanol kits have caused engine failures from 350-550whp, it could have been a failure in the actual system which then caused the lean condition...

mr and base gsr's have the same motor, same turbo...so the only difference is the suspension and drivetrain...and what do you mean buy blowing the piston...be a little more specific...do you mean the whole thing shattering into pieces or something like that?...is it possible that the rod bolts gave out and shot your piston to your valves?...pics would be nice imo

HERE TAKE ALOOK
you need to click me.....here piston crack in half drop int the bottom

HEY~ WHERE IS MY PISTON AT?

Why so many EVO owners blow stock Engine? I've never heard of anyone blowing a "stock" engine.

When you add parts and increase power, you increase the chances of blowing things, engine, clutch, TC, diffs, axels....There are many people running the power levels you list with no problems.

I would think the three most important factors to keeping your engine together are;
1. Tune
2. Tune
3. Tune

But Doogie, if he takes the aluminum foil off, they will be able to read and control his thoughts.

power increase, reliability decreases. the engine in the stock form was a balance of power/reliability.

its a matter of time...........and it will eventually go "kaboom"

you want to play, you got to pay

p.s. imagine buying a mbc that comes with a disclaimer:"will cause reliability issues if boost is increased"

OK I GOT STREET TUNED BY ONE OF FAMOUS TUNER AND THE METHANOL WAS SPRAYING AT THAT TIME I BLEW THE ENGINE....IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TUNE,,,
STILL YOU CAN BLOW THE ENGINE WITH GOOD TUNE AND GOOD A/F RATIO,,,,,,ITS JUST THAT TOO MUCH STRESS ADDED TO THE WEAK PISTON

Nice pic, tiger. There's nothing there. More than likely it was caused by one of two things. Either you had a bad tune, or your meth system failed.

So did you have any question? Or did you just want to bring this up for the 50th time for the attention?

BTW, check out the "500whp stock block club" thread. If the pistons were so notoriously week, then are they just the luckiest people in the world? Or maybe they did something right.

Yet again, you struggle with no proof, How do you explain curt brown? How do you explain anything else that has happend to these cars? there are plenty of people that are running these numbers Just fine with no issues So i dont understand why your getting all worked up.
