Short Throw Shifter

Hey im just wondering what everyone's view is on the best short throw shifter that is made for an Evo...ive been checking out the perrin but just wondering if i should go with an adjustable or stick with something that is solid.

i refuse to use them ever since a short shifter stripped out the synchros in my VW...

I have the B & M..... no probs although I did hear about ^ the stripping of the synchros. I love the way it feels though.... make sure to get the bushings too

+1 on the adjustable B&M set at 45%. You have to get the bushings and the heaviest counter weighted knob possible.

i had the B&M adj. on my 03 8 with the metal bushings (base) and the two piece under the hood with the razo 340 graham shift knob. It was like day and night difference in shifting,nice clean, accurate shifts. it felt fantastic and even much better when i added the excedy twin.

adj.

how was the height of the shift knob with the adj.? got a lot higher?

I have the same 340 gram and i like it a lot. The shifter/knob sits much lower. The heavy weighted knob helps with the throws and the bushings make things very smooth.
