You stand a pretty big chance of getting your warranty denied/voided if they figure out what happened and figure out you were lying to them.

^^ Ditto. I know it sucks but if you go the route you're planning on... you deserve it.

My neighbor ran his EVO off the road, and messed up his under-side (don't specifically know what, though). The CHP came and filed a report. When he took the car into Mitsu, he just told them there was something wrong..."fix it under warranty." Believe it or not, they called local PD's, Sheriff's and CHP to find out if there was an accident report on the car, and there was. Claim was denied, and warranty voided.

Hope they don't call Fresno PD, in your case.

good for them. that's smart and definitely worth the time and effort to troll the boards. if i owned a car dealership i'd be all over the forums tracking down people who purchsed a car from me.

Sorry to sound mean but this is why mitsu denies warranties for those who have legit reasons. I blew my motor due to mods. Did I mod it back to stock and take it to mitsu crying? No...I bent over and took it like a man. I suggest you do the same.
+1 ... not cool, you are trying to roll your problems on to others ...

Unfortunately in that instance the owner might have had a legitimate warranty claim. The only reason I mention it is to let people know that it can and has happened before.

If they are going to warranty it out then it means less headache for me.

But if they find out then I'll ask them the noted it that it damaged due to the 2 wheel tow and I'll take the letter to the lawyer or contact the towing company.

Well I prefer that they warranty it out because it'll be less headache on me.

I think you should get serious about this and get a lawyer. He will be able to advise you who to sue or maybe both. I feel really bad for you, I've had my share of bad experiences with cops!

This makes me sick how can you people let the so called authorites **** allover you like this. Learn this word and use it "NO". Its not like you got picked up for drugs or god forbid prostitution. I am sure you jsut a regular hard working guy, who now has learned a lesson that the men in blue* are not on your side and are more than happy to **** you over.

Get a lawyer if you can't afford one put it on your credit card.

*blue is also a term used for homosexuals.
