Suggestions on replacement stock hangers

I am looking to replace the rear stock exhaust hangers on my evo because my catback exhaust is hanging too close to the rear bumper and is melting the bumper. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any worth looking into. I have checked out the kartboy hangers but from the description on lancershop.com, they say they are direct replacements, and didnt say the exhaust would hang any lower, which is what i am looking for. I have an espelir jgt500r catback fyi. IF anyone could make any suggestions i would really appreciate it. Thanks

the kartboys will definitely move it up, i tried those and went back to stock. assuming the exhaust was installed correctly(finger tighten bolts from front to back and then tighten from front to back after aligning the exhaust how you like)i think your best bet would be to bend the hanger(s) for the muffler down a little. that should give the clearance you're looking for.

Maybe heating the stock ones to get them to stretch maybe an option. Also try getting a heat shield in the interim.

I dont see how the heat shield could fit between the exhaust and the bumper since they are so close

the kartboys will not help, they will make it worse(by raising the exhaust). i think you should just try to bend the metal hangers a little to get the fit you're looking for and save your bumper from being toasted.
