Jester Tuning will tune my EVO IX MR SE with the MODE 3 (M3) FLASH.

I will have Before and After Dyno runs and we will hit the Drag strip that night to show some true drag strip numbers.

Leave the BR or use the blitz ss fine mesh filter. The rest are oil soaked that can upset your MAF sensor.

We are not the same people, but both talented tuners. We have worked closely together.

Seems to me that you'll need larger injectors too. I can't imagine that the stock 560 cc/min injectors can support 400 whp (let alone 350 whp).

I keep hearing injectors are not needed until a turbo upgrade. I thought 560 cc would be good for 450 whp?

Well my friend just read that we are getting emission tests again by 2009 so until then enjoy the race pipes

btw i would do cams before meth, you will get way more power if you run cams and then hook up meth

Apexi filters are very good. Not oiled either so no need to worry about the MAF sensor. How come you don't like the Buschur filter?

The problem will be at higher rpm when there is less time to inject fuel. With just a flash on my otherwise stock Evo IX, the injector duty cycle is already hitting 98% at 7000 rpm. The ECU has a safety margin of about 10% in that value so its not quite as bad as it looks, but still this is on a IX that's maybe pushing 300 whp. I would guess that a 400 whp car with stock injectors and stock fpr would tune fine at lower rpms but be difficult to keep from going lean in the upper rpms. If you run an adjustable fpr to bump up the fuel pressure to maybe 53-55 psi, the stock injectors might be able to supply enough fuel at higher rpms.
