Better sun visors?

Maybe it's a petty complaint, but I drive north to go home each night, so the western-setting sun is always shining into my car and my left eye. My sun visor is too short to block the sun where it shines into the window near the upper B pillar. Being half-blinded gets old fast.

Although I use a ball cap and sunglasses, I wish my sun visors had the little sliding extender flap that's included in most cars these days, which could bridge the gap. But they don't.

So ... has anyone ever swapped the Evo sun visors for better ones? I suspect the mounting is almost identical on most cars (especially other Mitsubishi cars), but I'm not sure. Thanks.

I have the same problem(not really a problem) on my way to work every morning. The visor just doesn't get the sun coming in from the drivers side window

Read! He does use them!

Back on-topic - Haven't tried that, but I think it'd be a nice addition. I wish every car maker would use the extension piece.

Yeah; I mentioned sunglasses above. They do help. A bit. As does a ball cap. Glad I'm not the only one who's afflicted; misery loves company. (Actually, misery is too strong a word.)

I bet someone sells extenders. I'll google it now.

It pisses me off too...you'd think for a $36k car they could at least make it look better then the Lancer base model. But hey...I guess most of that money went towards the engine.

Here's an aftermarket option, although it's kind ugly and complicated, and it would cover the mirror.

Well...I understood that when I purchased the car. I can still complain about it though...

How about getting a strip of tint along the top of the windshield. You can get limo tint and just tint the top 6 or so inches. I've always had that done to my cars, looks good and has functionality.

Not tinted; trying to stay totally legal. (California prohibits front-window or windshield tinting.)
