Tuning by buschur or dynoflash

Hey everyone,
I plan on getting an evolution ix gsr (an MR to u guys) this week. I have been reading this forum for the past month and could still not find the answer im looking for.

The problem is that the version we get is the European spec evo (very similar to JDM if not totally the same). I wanted to get a Buschur stage 1 but i'm worried about them not being able to flash my ecu. Does anyone know if buschur racing
can flash a EDM/JDM ecu or anyone else for that matter?

tuning

get the evo 9 gsr and get a bushur set up. dynoflash has horrible customer service. I actually went with a jestr tune and car ran so smooth as it was not modified with my mods. good luck.

great!

i'd go with the Works Flash if Buschur or Dynoflash can't do it.
I hope buschur can do it cuz i was really planning on going with their stage 1 setup

First of all Al does Buschur's flashes so if you are getting a flash from either it will most likely be Al's. Now on the otherhand Buschur tunes Al's car on Full Standalone so if you are going with standalone then Buschur is the guy. Or you have other great options which people with experience with a flash are recommending above.

Well, I am in the same situation as you... I have a JDM Evo IX.

The only 2 tuners that will deal with non USDM cars is Jestr and TurboTrix.

I have emaield Jestr, friendly guy, seems nice, and fast turnaround time!

Can't speak of TurboTrix, but they seem friendly based on forum posts :-)

Jestr is the best way to go ! ..
talked to the dude ! Friendly and Fast Responce ! ..

when i talked to Dynoflash he recommended Ecutek .. so if u are going with either Works or Ecutek it's gonna cost u 600 and more for shipping ! ..

Jestr Tune is the best to go for us none USDM spec evos .. 200$ for a flash .. and Jestr quoted me the shipping of the Ecu back and forth is 110$ from where i live in the middle east ..

EVOIX4me

i have done my research on flashes plenty enough. My choices are limited due to my evo being a JDM.

Dead-Man Inc
i'd have no problem going with Jestr tune if they can tune a JDM ecu. How u personally tried them? if so, can u tell me how u liked ur tune?

thanks everyone for the great replies, hope to join the evo community soon!

JDM and USDM are the same ecu, it's no different, anyone that can flash a USDM ecu will be able to flash a JDM ecu, including but no limited to buschur, dynoflash, works, jestr, ams, ttp, etc etc
