It's easier to install all your modifications now so you can tune it afterwards.

At least you can still install your catback for now.

You can also tune incrementally as you add your modifications.

One thing great about the Evo is that there is so many choices.

Yes you will have to remove your ECU for mail-in flashes.

If you get the tatrix cable, you can get an email flash and upload
it via your OBDII port.

Depending on who you ask will depend on which vendor is prefered.
This would pertain to both the mail-in and email flashes.

At this point, I would just put it down and wait until daylight.
Sometimes it's better to get a fresh perspective later on.

I have to wonder if your problem is BOV or boost hose related.

Best thing to do is get a good night rest for now and try not to stress over it.
You'll get it fixed sooner or later. I mean it's 2:30am on your side of the country.

And you're absolutely sure that all the IC pipes are connected properly? The symptoms sound like a d/c'd IC pipe somewhere. Check the elbow at the throttlebody, the connection at the turbo and diverter valve area.

i never touched any of the intercooler pipes ... but i will check and see if anything came loose somehow, but i 100% doubt it.

You can drive around all you want with an intake on without a tune but you'll lose power and it would be a good idea not to get on it at all.
Umm, no pal. YOU should take YOUR OWN advice because I am speaking from experience and what I have heard from others. Yes, I know how to install a fcking intake. I've installed my own lowering springs and am currently doing a clutch install. But thanks for nothing. Jerk!

That doesn't sound promising about the MAF.

Hopefully you didn't hurt the actual sensor part.

Why are vicegrips anywhere near the MAF ?
