Hey guys do we have a partial throttle boost on evos 9 especially??? I think we do because if I floor it than it holds the boost and if I drive easy it spikes all the time so you guys think a new waist gait should fix a problem?

ok if I press gas gently my car spikes a lot if a floor it it holds 20 PSI so my friend told me its the waist gait so I want to know if its really a waist gait or some thing else

What does it spike to? When you say gently do you mean about a quarter throttle, half throttle? What RPM are you at when you're on the gas gently? BTW its called a "wastegate"

 

I also have HKS BOV reserculating it and when I drive on 6 gear like 80 MPH and I'm in boost and I release gas pedal easaly the car starts to jerk and I can hear the bov to blows couple of time so its like weird as hell but I have no idea why it happens so I go back to wais gait lol

hmmm sounds like you need a stiffer spring for that BOV or something...

So you're spiking at partial throttle... what RPM? Its higher than say 3k? After the turbo has spooled? I don't see how you can spool your turbo if you're on the car gently... you have to be half throttle or more

 

oh and what are you spiking to? more than 20psi? How long is the spike?

I have a boost controler and it was still spiking then I got exhaust downpipe back and now it still stikes but only if I go gently on a throttle weird
