hahaha, couldnt have been better. when i was 18 i went to a local Subaru dealership and wanted to testdrive a WRX, and an sti just a wrx. well sure enough, you take one glance at a car on the lot and the salesmen is hounding you...we went inside and he quietly took my licience, so the manager wouldn't see. while he was in making copies the manager came over and asked what we were doing. i told him we were going for a test drive, and he said "i dont think so" im like, "why the hell not?" he said "r u gonna buy it". i was like "gotta drive it first." he wouldn't let me. so i went home and my father called the dealer talked to the manager and told him that i had $25000 in cash to buy that car, and that i came home w/ one from a dealership down the road. he was needless to say speechless....

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being low and 10 being high, I give them a -64.

19k does suck. Agreed. HOWEVER, if you think you're getting 27k for an '03 (regardless of mileage), good luck. KBB doesn't dictate the market. The actual MARKET itself does that. Expect $22-24k for it.

in my area There is 46 automall, VERY BAD
Maywood is better than 46 automall but they aren't doing too good themselves
ANd Bell mitsu a they are pretty good, just like to void your warranty.

So if you are in North NJ youre pretty much screwed.

That is exactly what I expected. Considering their resale of atleast 26k, I didn't think they were that gready.

Ed Volyes Mitsu in Marrietta, GA: Service is pretty good. Pretty much told me all i would have to do to get anything warrantied on my 03 was to remove the boost controller the previous owner put on (they were fine with the exhaust). As far as sales go i havent dealt with them too much considering i bought from a private seller, but i was talking to them about an 05 VIII and they were working out a great deal for me. Too bad i couldnt afford it at the time...

Current South Coast pricing is $26,999 for a BRAND NEW RS and $28,599 for a BRAND NEW IX. If it's worth $22-24k now, that means he got 3-4 YEARS of use out of an Evo, which presumably was HARD use, for $2999-$6599! Oh wait! That's what you're suggesting the dealer pay for it. Now the dealer has to sell it for a profit!

Put another way, let's say he did a 3 year lease, and let's use the worst case from above. That would make his payment $183/mo plus tax, bank fees, etc. He'd be getting an Evo for the price of an Aveo!

It's not our fault our cars keep a high resale value.

although I do agree those numbers are stretched a bit, and realistically I'd see 20-21k offered from a dealer.

The dealership where I purchased my car gave me a very good deal. Then, immediately thereafter, they went out of business. So, I give them a excellent.

I went to Max Madsen mitsubishi in Aurora, Illinois. I couldn't have been happier with my sales experience and the two times I've had the evo in for service I left happy. Sales was very professional and the tech team was even better. Then again both time I've gone in to deal with the techs I haven't been trying to get warranty work done on a modified powertrain. They even have high speed internet in the waiting room.

To the poster i would recommend east providence mitsubishi ive gone their looking for an evo for myself and they have all been very nice there and really good people. i have family that bought a car there recently and everything worked out nicely. I would consider them alot more for an evo but as of right now they only have 3 ix special editions for 32k which is about 7k over my price range lol.
