Weird issue

I just installed new tailights last week and for some reason my brake lights dont work. All the lights are illuminated but when I hit the brakes, the brake lights dont get any brighter. My rear window brake light works but the two tailight brake lights dont.

I double checked everything and nothing seems to be the issue. I even installed the old ones tail's back and those dont even work know.

Any suggestions?

The bulbs have to be dual filament.....if they are single filament then it wont get brighter when you step on the brakes

i check all the fuses and they are all fine. I took the old bulbs from my stock tailights and put them into the VII tails.

STUPID...it was just the bulbs. I went to Nappa, got 2 new bulbs...all set. I just thought it was odd that both bulbs would go exactly at the same time.

Thanks for the help though.

I had the same issue with my tail lights but it wasnt the bulbs coz it would turn up when pressing the brakes, was a fuse issue.. glad u got it sorted!
