Buschur Exhaust
I am inquiring on the Buschur 3" exhaust..
For those of you that have it installed in your new EVO.. How loud is it? I have a 3" exhaust on my GSX and WRX.. The WRX is not that loud, but I was wondering if the EVO sounds too loud as well... I'm starting to get tired of the resonation inside the vehicles...
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being best of course. How would you guys rate the sound and loudness of the exhaust.. I know that it should yeild good gains with the installation... Thanks for the input!!!!
I'm planning on purchasing the 3" soon from Buschur...

Yep, mrdecibel's sound file is pretty much how it sounds, minus some of the lower range which didn't seem to record well. Its an aggressive, mean sounding exhaust under load, but very mellow at idle. Very bearable at interstate speeds.

Ok... I did hear the sound clip.. I just know that you can't really compare things like that unless you're there in person... But if you say it's that close than I believe it.. I was just wondering cause you know that all the pictures that were posted, didn't really do the EVO justice until you saw it in person... That's why I was inquiring from all of you...
i have a 3inch from rmr and a 3inch downpipe with stock cat.. and it seems to be very quiet.. almost too quiet.. .. but its legal tho.. so i like to revv it up when the police is around me.. just to let them know that i'm legal
I have Buschurs 3" tubo-back with test pipe. It is with no doubt much louder than stock, due to the test pipe. Installing a high flow cat, which I am getting soon, will bring the noise down quite a bit. But I like it loud. It's not like too damn loud, but when you stomp on it it sounds sweet.

Cat. Conv. don't like leaded race gas. The 4G63 does. A lot.

Just installed the Buscher 3" turbo back and it is loud!! I have the test pipe and am going to get the hiflow cat to quiet it down a little. I don't care about it being loud, just don't want to get a ticket for it. Maybe i am just s *****, i don't know. Test pipe doesn't add much, i read that Dave Buschur tested both with cat and without and said that they lost power without a cat but gained torque. To me if there is not much difference i would rather stay legal. Anyone know where i can order a cat?
One last thing, my car keeps stalling, anyone else had this problem??
