And upgrading a 350z to 450rwhp is not a $5-7K job. Just the twin turbo kit will be $4-5K at least.
The turbo kit will be $4-5k. Then you add in the instalation fee, then there's the stock clutch (can it handle 450 rwhp?), what about the rest of the drivetrain? what about gauges (boost, oil temp,...)? Does the kit include a boost controler?
Basically in the end you pay up the *** to get a TT 350z to run reliably. and if you're a automobile idiot like me, you have to pay someone else to install everything which will be a large portion of the bill. In my opinion 5-7k might be conservitive.

the 350Z will need a turbo kit, boost controller, engine management, intercooler, piping kit, downpipes, midpipes, exhaust, clutch, BOV kit, fuel pump, injectros ( 6 of them). And that is all, if we assume teh transmission will hold the power. So all that just in parts come sto around $11000.
And after spoending $11K on poarts and let say about $2-4K on labor and dyno tuning, you will still have teh stock engine,a nd will be praying every day for it hold all that boost.
If you read my post that's "465whp with STOCK Internals", transmission, and upgraded clutch. Along with all the usual bolt-ons and fuel and engine management upgrades.
And who cares how much you pay for eveything, that doesn't matter when you win or lose. But only if you win or lose.

The only point of mentioning these things is to prove what car has better potential and is the better suited race car. You want a better comparison then take each car and see which one can hit 400 to the wheels the cheapest and easiest. Or which one will hit 11's in the 1/4 with the least put into it. Evo will win both of those categories. Look the 350Z isn't a bad car by any means. It's just not an Evo.
