bigger intercooler require crashbar removal???
i currently have the TURBOXS intercooler and my car is currently at a shop... they said that i might have to remove to crashbar to fit the intercooler...i didn't know it was required or never heard anything about removing the bar to install most aftermarket intercooler... anyone help me out...chime in a bit..

The intercooler would have to be huge to require permanent removal of the crash bar. The AMS intercooler is 3.625" thick and fits fine, so unless the TurboXS intercooler is thicker than that it should fit as well.

my RNR was supposedly bolt in also. But I had to remove the crash bar to get it to fit. Anything 4" thick is going to be a tight squeeze, and it will depend upon the end tank design. You can tell the shop to try and hang it a bit lower, which should help with clearing the crash bar, but you may not be able to use your undertray after that. Pick your poison, no crash bar or no undertray.
