If you can do that kind of damage in a prius, I hate to see what you can do in an evo. Being mature has nothing to do with being dumb, it is simply an age thing. I'm no smarter than I was when I was a teenager, hell I actually feel dumber now that I don't have the teenage cockiness, but I'm a hell of a lot more mature. You cannot learn maturity or read about it on a car forum, you can only get it from experience. Know matter how mature you think you are at 17, you'll look back in the future and go "God damn was I an idiot back them".

Even though he his only 17 he might have gone through some experiences that have matured him more than someone years older than him that has not gone through the same experiences. Some go through many life changing experiences as children and learn from them. They realize that every action has a reaction. Even though you may assume that he is just like the rest of the teenage population, you can't judge someone through an internet forum.

Not to sound like an ***, but look at the way he talks, he does not come across as the most mature person in the world. Also, this is an internet forum, do you expect people to assume he is like 99% of the teenagers out there, or that he somehow represents the miracle 1%? Basic statistics and probability should give the answer.

If I was a betting man, Id bet that one Evo IX SE purchased from South Holland Mitsu will have an incredibly short life. Its on you to prove us wrong I guess, if you actually get this car... Post up pics upon purchase. Good luck.
I was thinking the same thing...if you cannot handle a 90 horse power car in the rain, and are going to be piloting an Evo around...you better start writing up your will early son =)

Absolutely i was qouted like $500/month originally

They wouldnt let me drive the MR's no matter where i went until i signed paper work informing them i were to buy it (credit approval ect.) They did on the other hand let me drive a couple GSR's from 2 different places I went to. I also was planning on buying it (not just out for a test drive) Thats why i go to the nissan dealers ACTING like ill trade my evo in on a 350Z or subi dealer looking at STI's... Not to beat on them, but to see what the hype is about.. havent found it yet

OMG! Are you THAT dumb? Listen to what people are saying. They are not hating on you because you are 17 or that you are immature nor are they doubting your ability to pay for the Evo - its just that the Evo is not the car for you right now. To put it bluntly (after having read your responses), you are still clueless. You will be dead or maybe paralyzed before you turn 18 or if you are lucky you would be eating thru a tube stuck to your stomach because your face was so messed up you couldnt chew food for months. Sorry but this is reality, look up the stats. If you could do that damage to a Prius while driving in the rain imagine what would happen in an Evo in the snow-winter tires or not. So please listen to what others have to say thay are just looking after you!

haha wow, what's going on with this thread? as for evoixmr8916, you crashed a prius...then i hope you'll be more carefull with the evo since its a way-way faster car. in reality, members of this forum can't make decisions for you, so you don't really have to listen to whatever we say. it's your money or your parents money, your life, your responsibility and it's going to be your car. just remember maybe next time you crash, maybe it wont be that minor. and you might severely damage the car or worst, take someone's life. just think about the consequences before you start driving aggressively in an evo or any car. =/ and good luck. hmmphh this thread is weird. (and yes im 17yrs old also w/ an evo. whateverss)
