Where were you when...
my friend who got an Evo showed me the Mitsu Evo website....that's when i first fell in love with any car.
then the first Evo i've ever seen on the street was at the corner of Colima Rd and Pathfinder Rd in city of Rowland Heights. it was a red VIII with white front driver fender and white front bumper (i think it was getting a paintjob done)

First live EVO I saw was at my buddies shop where I do my mods.. It was a silver EVO V GSR.. Awesome... Ive always known about EVO's since the EVO III... So it was like bathing in holy water when I saw it..
The next one was the VIII. The day it hit the dealers, and I bought it right there...

seriously..2f2f.. but i didnt know it was an evo.. i wasnt even into cars then.. but then i saw SMOKEMUSTANG stickermobile and actually heard it and turned to see what it was and then was fixated on getting one!! got mine finally after tunring 18
I was a valet at the Viejas Casino in San Diego in 2003 when a yellow evo pulled up.... he just bought it and he valet'd it with us. Big mistake as it was my first time driving one of these babies...it was love! Now i have my very own yellow evo. I knew about them before...It was the first one I seen stateside.
