You saw your "first" Evo in person before you owned one???

*I was at a Corvette show, and saw a BBY parked next to me when the show was over. It was love at first sight!!!

 

On the streets of Via Reggio, Italy in 2002. I saw a silver VII (I had heard of the Evo just months before) and when i saw it, I needed it. I still think the VII is the best looking Evo.

 

I first saw one at a car show in 2002-2003 and told my friends that were with me at the time that someday I would have one.

 

Evo VII when i was in Tokyo 4 years ago....

 

i was in FL just leisurely driving down the road when i caught a glimpse of the mitsu dealership and a lot with like 8 of them, all colors... i fell in love with the blue one right away. If it wasnt for them trying to PIIMB, i would have drove it home.... so i got back to NC and within a week, the Altima was gone, the evo was mine

Joking - near Ann Arbor on US23 back in 2004, it was yellow on the otherside of the freeway that man he was booking - had to be 120+. It came and went in a flash.

1993 summer at Dover Raceway in the hills of St Ann's, in Jamaica. I was smitten/in awe.....still am. Now living here in the US and I finally own my first.

I saw one outside a dealership

 

I dont even remember

 

The day I bought mine. Before that is was just in car and driver.

 

I wasn't sure what it was at the time, but I used to see a yellow one on Bay State Rd In Boston walking to and from class about two or three years ago.

 

I remember that at the Drift Showoff in March 2003, I saw a yellow U.S.-spec Evo VIII in the parking lot with dealer plates, and then I saw Rhys Millen drifting a red rally-spec Evo VII.

I know I had seen an Evo (probably a VI) when I was younger, but I just can't remember when or where.

 

Heard about evos from a really good friend of mine, when it came time to buy my car I jokingly told my dad that I wanted an evo and.....yeah.....he took me to mitsu dealer the same weekend and there I saw the majectic beauty in all its glory

Yeah I'm spoiled.
